BIAS BINDING SERIES - Part 4 - How To Join Fabric Strips for Bias Binding

Welcome to part four of my bias binding series! How to join fabric strips for bias binding.

If you are following along with my bias binding series, you will now have cut out your bias fabric strips, so the next step is to sew them together.

Take two of your fabric strips and place them right sides together at 90 degrees to each other.

You can carefully pin them together if you want to or draw in a pencil line to follow and then sew them together from the top left corner to the bottom right corner using your sewing machine.

Take the strips to your ironing board and press this small seam open.

Tidy up any excess fabric at each side with a pair of scissors and repeat until all of your bias strips are sewn together.
